My name is Darlene. I'm an optimistic person at heart. Every now & then I become quiet & introverted, usually when I'm deep in thought or I'm dealing with something difficult. I don't usually share my grief, I prefer to spread happiness & be encouraging. I love being with people but when I really want to do something, I don't mind going it alone.
I belong to a wonderful church in my town & like to stay active in it. I love Bible study & prayer. I have one daughter who's married & lives on the west coast, so I don't see her as often as I'd like to. We're both praying she has children in the near future.
I was twice married, 1st ended in death, the 2nd in divorce. I am currently successfully single. I'm an avid reader & a lover of all genres of music, except anything that contains vulgarity. Sometimes I feel I was born in the wrong generation because I still value courtesy & liked it when a man acted like a gentleman.
I'm always looking to make new acquaintances who share commonalities & interests. I love entertaining although I feel I don't entertain at home enough. I love to cook. I take after my mom, who is my best friend. I also love to clean.
I work in a pharmacy, which is a pretty sterile environment, which is okay by me. It feeds my fetish for cleaning.
I've said alot here, which is another one of my characteristics. I'm a talker but I like to think I'm a good listener also. I'm here because I love Clay & think he is THE BEST singer I've ever had the privilege to listen to. I think he's a beautiful human being, inside & out. I endeavor with all my heart to support him as long as I can & as often as I can.
